Thank you for visiting my blog!
A little about me, so you know some background to the girl posting all of this stuff.
So, it’s pretty obvious that I more than like food. I have a food blog. It’s like going to AA for foodies, except we just get to keep cooking instead of talk about how we used to do it.
Anyway, I’m Holly. I’m a Colorado bred girl living in the desert, just trying to find my niche. I’m an accountant by trade, but spend my nights and weekends doing my true loves: cooking, eating, and snapping photos of everything along the way. I may be a numbers girl by day, but my heart has always been in my creative past times. I like to drink wine, attempt foods, figure out an edible recipe, take photos of said foods, and post snarky (but informative!) blog posts about them.
I really care about what I put in my body, but I also really like beer and macaroni and cheese. The struggle is real, and I don’t think I’m alone. After all, any self-respecting Coloradian knows just how delicious that first sip of beer is after the Cherry Creek Sneak. This blog has become a way for me to attempt to find a happy medium between eating solely for fuel and actually enjoying what I eat. I like trying to take things that are traditionally bad for you and making them a little better with less processed ingredients. I also like proving that not all veggies are bad, and if cooked properly can be positively mouthwatering. But don’t worry, I’ll still teach you how to make a bitching mac and cheese sauce for those cheat days. :)
Anyway, enough for now. For more insight as to why this whole blog got going, feel free to check out my very first post.
Until then, happy cooking.
