So this is a bit of a bonus spin off from my usual, cook fabulous food-photograph prepared food-eat food-blog about said food using snarky remarks and lame punny jokes-repeat. Alas, don’t worry your little blog reading hearts-it’s still foodie related.
Obviously. What else would we do with our time?
When we aren’t cooking food, we are most certainly still thinking about it and seeking out new venues to try it at. My husband and I spend some serious time scanning online menus of bucket list restaurants. There is some fantastic food here in Vegas and we are on a quest to leave no restaurant unvisited. So, why not document our journeys? Does my opinion count for much? Probably not, but maybe you’ll end up somewhere yummy based on my suggestions, and that’s just magical in itself.
We’re still pretty new in this town, so there’s a lot to conquer. Luckily, I think we’re up for the challenge. We’ve already visited a delicious handful, which I’ll be adding reviews of in time.
In addition to our quest to try every restaurant, we have taken it upon ourselves to create the “No Pool Left Behind” initiative. First, let’s address the elephant in the room before we go on. We are supposed to wait at least an hour prior to swimming. We got it covered. Don’t worry. Oh, also, you’re probably wondering with all of this eating we’re doing, how we’ll keep our figures for pool season. Everything in moderation, folks. Though delicious, you don’t need to eat the whole plate. Plus, if you’re feeding your body non-processed, “real” food, your body actually digs that. But, that’s another soapbox for another blog post. On to our pool adventures. Basically, we really like Las Vegas weather and the pools that come along with it, so we want to visit each casino’s pool (and rate it, of course). I’ve even totally nerded out and made an excel spreadsheet detailing each casino, it’s pools, and admission in to each. My accounting skills have finally paid off for something useful.
Finally, with all of this pooling and eating, we like to check out the rooms of the hotels that house these delicious, fun adventures. Just because I don’t have enough to do, I plan on playing tripadvisor and giving you fabulous readers some insight in to each hotel stay as well.
Alright. Enough is enough. Let’s get to judging meals, pools, and rooms!
(In case you’re wondering, I totally took that sweet photo you see above. It’s one of my prouder photographic moments. Big thanks to the top of the Stratosphere for providing this amazing view for me to capture.)
